Physical assault, verbal abuse, sexual harassment, or intimidation are not acceptable behavior and will not be tolerated. This includes behavior in the parking lots, outside areas of the meetings and workshops, and club activities.

Any member who feels uncomfortable for conduct outlined above should immediately inform a member of the Board. That Board member will note the date of the incident and inform the rest of the Board in a sensitive and appropriate way. The Board will determine what action to take regarding the incident. 

The use of the roster to contact members for purposes outside of club business or activities is unacceptable.  

We expect our member to practice reasonable due diligence to make sure they are not purchasing or trading habitat collected plants.

Any member or vendor who is convicted by a court, or jurisdiction related to their illegal habitat collecting activities, shall be banned from participation in SGVCSS activities for one year from their conviction date.

The SGVCSS rules should be referenced for specific rules and policies regarding the showing of habitat collected plants.

Members are expected to abide by the SGVCSS Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in the removal from the club upon recommendation of the Board.
